Xiaomi startet Smartphone Austauschprogramm Alt gegen Neu in Indien

Xiaomi möchte seinen Marktanteil in Indien weiter vergrößern und startet jetzt sein Austauschprogramm, wo man alte Smartphones gegen Neue tauschen kann.

Für diese Aktion hat man sich mit dem Firma Cashify.in zusammengetan, um seinen Kunden einen Austausch von vorhandenen Xiaomi Smartphones gegen Neue zu ermöglichen. Cashify kauft sonst alte Geräte an und verkauft sie dann weiter, ähnlich wie der Anbieter Rebuy bei uns in Deutschland.

Angeboten wird der Service in den in Indien ansässigen Mi Home Stores in Bengaluru, Delhi-NCR, Hyderabad, Mumbai, Pune und Chennai. Der Ablauf ist relativ simpel, man gibt sein Gerät im Mi Store ab und das Team von Cashify ermittelt den Wert für das alte Smartphone und bietet den Betrag dem Verkäufer an. Ist dieser einverstanden, wird der Betrag von dem neuen Xiaomi Gerät abgezogen. Voraussetzung dafür ist aber, dass des alte Handy auch bei Cashify gelistet ist. In wie weit das Sinn macht oder sich lohnt, können wir von hier aus nicht sagen. Bei deutsche Anbietern lohnt das hingegen nur selten und man sollte das Gerät eher privat versuchen zu verkaufen. In Indien kann das über den Anbieter natürlich ganz anders sein.

In this case, he pays the complete amount for the new phone at the store during the time of purchase and schedules a pick up call. Cashify shall be sending an executive to collect the device as per the decided time and pays the customer. In this process, all issues are addressed by Cashify. Xiaomi has no involvement in the process.

Ansonsten baut Xiaomi seine Präsenz in Indien weiter stark aus und nimmt dort besonders dem Smartphone Riesen Samsung gewaltige Marktanteile weg. Aktuell gibt es bereits 11 Xiaomi Stores und man möchte auf Dauer in ganz Indien auf insgesamt 100 Geschäfte kommen. Außerdem kündigt man in Noida, Indien bald seine dritte Fabrik zu eröffnen. Indien zählt zu einer der größten Märkte neben Asien und nachvollziehbar, dass Xiaomi sich dort weiter ausbreiten wird.

Xiaomi kommt auch Europa immer näher und eröffnete in Spanien seinen ersten Online-Shop. Auch das neue Android One Smartphone von Google alias MI A1 kommt von Xiaomi und ist ein wahrer Kassenschlager, denn bei keinen anderen Hersteller bekommt man “soviel” Smartphone für sein Geld.
