RKI: Incidence value rises inexorably! Current figures – are tough measures coming after all?
It remains the same, the next scary figures from the RKI are there! Since days the incidence rises again clearly in Germany. Just in view of the cold season a worrying development! Do we now have to expect tougher measures again?
Incidence value rises again!
The nationwide seven-day incidence rate for new corona infections has risen again. As the Robert Koch Institute (RKI) announced on Tuesday morning, the value increased to 113.0. The previous day it had been at 110.1. Within one day, 10,473 new infections were registered accordingly.
The number of deaths in Germany in connection with a Corona infection rose by 128 cases to 95,245, according to the data. The total number of detected infections since the beginning of the pandemic is 4,483,203, according to the RKI.

The incidence figure, which indicates the number of new Corona infections per 100,000 population in the past seven days, has been rising steadily for the past week and a half. Last Friday, the incidence had topped 100 for the first time since May.
The incidence figure has long been the deciding factor in federal and state Corona measures. Because of progress in the vaccination campaign, other values now play a greater role – particularly the number of Corona patients in hospitals.
