Dwayne Johnson (48, "Jumanji: The Next Level") bekommt eine Comedy-Serie über sein eigenes Leben auf dem US-Sender "NBC". In "Young Rock" porträtiert Produzentin Nahnatchka Khan (47, "Fresh Off the Boat") die Entwicklungsjahre des heutigen Megastars "The Rock". Nun gab Johnson selbst die Besetzung auf Instagram bekannt. Die Produktion der vorerst elf geplanten Episoden soll laut dem Branchenportal "Deadline" demnächst in Australien beginnen.

Johnson gedenkt seines verstorbenen Vaters

Adrian Groulx stellt Johnson als zehnjährigen Jungen dar, Bradley Constant mimt ihn mit 15 und Uli Latukefu (37, "Marco Polo") übernimmt die Jahre 18 bis 20. Der Schauspieler und ehemalige Wrestler soll übrigens auch selbst in jeder Episode auftauchen.
